Yesterday I met with a trusted friend and together with her visited a notary.

In addition to getting a certified copy made of my US passport and Slovak residence permit, she and I executed the document below and had it notarized:

The point of both of these things is to provide alternative means of identifying myself during the period that I am both stateless and undocumented, and to delegate to her the ability to sign for things in my name when none of the alternate documentation is acceptable to whomever I need to sign with.
