First in a potential series tracking media and blogosphere reaction to my renunciation of US citizenship. Call it self-aggrandizement if you like; part of the point of doing this was to raise public consciousness regarding issues important to, guess who?, me.

Thats great, Mike. Good luck with the radio interview. Please post a link once one becomes available.

I feel anxious about the level of discussion at http://www.ambience.sk/gogulski-vzdanie-sa-americkeho-obcianstva… but..as would in ancient rome say “Multa paucis”.

anyway I think that Boris did not get it, did he? is he finally aware, that syadasti is you? :)

And, of course, there’s one thing that does not surprise me at all. No coverage in mass-media, like SME, or at least Hospodarske noviny I would expect. Maybe I could arrange for you a interview for .tyzden, but I doubt that Lukas Krivosik would be interested in interviewing an anarchist. but who knows.

@Nick: Thanks, and I certainly will.

@Peter: No, I don’t think Boris got it. *shrug*. ambience… well, I find that most folks are quite comfortable with their preconceptions, and that a small percentage of those are eager to reinforce them by poking fun at others online. They’re not my audience anyway. I’m targeting that other small percentage who might read, understand, and think, most of whom are still silent.

Feel free to forward things along to your contact, of course, if you think he might be interested.
