Hoo-rah “anarchists” from one of my old home towns go wild!

Santa Cruz: Condo Windows Smashed

On the 4th of July, amidst the tourist frenzy and sounds of fireworks, at least 8 windows were broken on a condominium that is being built in the lower Ocean neighborhood.
The homes that once stood there housed primarily Latino families. These families were evicted to make way for more expensive housing. This type of development raises the property values, which in turn, forces out more low-income and working poor people from the area. It is a clear example of gentrification in our town.
We will continue to attack the sites of gentrification when and where we see them.
You’re supposed to be smashing the state, not private property, you fucking nitwits!
Also splattered at Santa Cruz Indymedia.

What exactly about these criminals is anarchistic? Their actions are characteristic of statists and gangsters (or do I repeat myself?).
You can’t call yourself a vegan while stuffing a turkey leg in your mouth. And you can’t call yourself an anarchist while acting like a state agent, smashing up someone’s private property.

These pinheads are “nihilists”, not “anarchists”.

uhhh… take a civics/government class. private property laws are enforced with the violence of the state (police, prisons, etc..). 90% of the law is about property!
for arguments against private property/capitalist accumulation, see: ANARCHISM as defined by a centuries old social/labor movement and millions of people. if you are a libertarian, get a different word. anarchist is already taken, and is against private property.

fss is describing socialism or communism. Government doesn’t protect MY property; I do.
anarchy= without Rulers
