Bunches of gratitude

First, thanks very much to JT, who sent me $100. You rock!

Second, I’d like to thank all of the people who provided thoughtful input to my request for advice.

With that largely confirming my own thinking, I’ve made some decisions:

1: I’m not going to pursue any more publicity regarding the police attack against me.

2: I’m going to try to move back to Bratislava in early March.

If any of my Slovak friends and readers know somebody who might have a room available to rent to a smoker with a cat, please let me know!

Wish I had more money, then I’d send some.

Moving back sounds like an interesting choice. I think it was wise to get out of town and get some perspective. You might get some of your friends in-country to ask around, see if the publicity went anywhere.

What then? Start a competing whorehouse with better treatment for the ladies? I dunno.

    Thanks, Jim.

As far as I know, precisely nothing has happened. Fine. Several people also reported having forwarded my story to journalists, with precisely zero reaction.

I need to go back. I guess I also needed to go away. I feel like I have roots there now which I am not willing to sunder. Time to learn to live a bit smarter.

No, I won’t be going into the brothel business any time soon in that town.
